keep blocky tiffs/pngs

Postby alexander » Wed Apr 12, 2017 8:14 pm

Hi,

I am preparing figures for scientific publications, but my microscope graphs (tiff/pngs) seems to undergo smoothing(blurring), is there an way to turn this of automatically (or keep the blocky on per automatic). I found a way to use the keep blocky ( as for previous version) under image/ set image attributes, but for this I have to do it manually in every picture. I am using version 92.

Thanks for your help.

Right-click on the image, select 'Object Properties', set Rendering to 'Optimize Speed'.

Great thanks,

It also worked to adjust the permanent bitmap setting to speed (blocky), I think this is important setting to adjust when you like to have 1:1 import of bitmaps.

Yes, setting it on import works, too :)
