I'm trying to make a closet door, the kind with the slanted panels but my panels with a gradient on them don't interpolate. i just get 20 grey rectangles in between my two shaded rectangles. clicking "interpolate style" doesn't change anything. Is there a way to interpolate an image with a gradient so i don't have to duplicate and move each panel?

Yes, it should work. 20 rectangles? Maybe you should increase the number of interpolation steps.

But if the interpolate style option doesn't work, you can still use the interpolate attribute inside group extension after the interpolation.

Perhaps some of the options for Repeat gradient (on Fill and Stroke dialog) could solve the thing?

Would be really neat if this would be implemented.
