Hi everyone, thanks in advance if you can help me with this problem. I'm a fairly new user of inkscape.

A chunk of text has become unselectable when I was using Inkscape. It's not invisible. I can see it and even hide it when hiding the layer. But I just can't select or edit it anymore. I've not locked the layer either.

Can anyone help?

Did you tried the double click on the text with ?

Yes, I've tried double-clicking it.

It seems like the text has locked itself even though I unlocked the layer.

I really need to fix this, cause it's my only copy of the file I'm working on

What is the extention of the file you're working with?

I just managed to solve it.

I used the "unlock all" function in the "object" menu.

I'm not sure how the text managed stay locked and can't be unlocked when I unlocked the layer.
