We have updated the direct print laser driver to include color support so each color goes onto a different layer with different associated properties (# auto repeat passes, different speeds, different powers).

Using inscape 0.92 with retinaengrave. Any new objects I create are not recognized by retinaengrave. Objects created earlier are recognized.

You should probably contact them directly. They probably are not monitoring this topic (since 2010). There must be some contact info in the download package? Or on the page where you downloaded?
