Hi,
I have a 1px wide x 310 px high image that I need to repeat 1000 times horizontally. I have followed instructions found in the web as to how to clone the image and the output is as desired. However, the result is pretty heavy for my computer. Is there a way to convert these 1000 1px wide objects into a 1000 pixel wide object?
Regards
Repeating pattern
Re: Repeating pattern
Hi.
Better use a raster editor program for that.
If it doesn't have any alpha value, even paint would make a good use.

Re: Repeating pattern
How about just changing the object width in the toolbar transform controls...?

Have a nice day.
I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1
The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/
