Layer modes difficulties

Hi!

When wanting to use layer modes like screen, dodge and multiply
I have a problem that transparent areas do affect bellow layer.
Like a square with no fill darkening that under,
or text having a square around it that it shouldn't.

How do I solve this?

I can't reproduce that behavior, can you share a file?

Here is a sample.

When top layer is set to non-normal, a square outline is added.
I guess it has something to do with filters

It's not the filters *in* the layer, it's the blend mode itself that does this. I cannot tell if this is to be expected - but Lazur will be able to.

It can be corrected if you add a composite:in filter primitive to the filter chain. Guess it's a rendering bug.

In general.
But honestly after opening your file can't see the glitch at the moment. Testing.

@Lazur - there's no attachment, maybe some formatting issue?

Hmm probably there's an issue with attaching files? Saw it happen in another post recently the attachment missing.

Correcting it with a dropbox hosted file.
