Re: Dexter
You don`t really think that you need help, or?
This is very great, i like it much. I reminds me a little bit on Neo from Matrix.

OMG, that's awesome!
Excellent work with gradients and blurs.
The only thing that jumps out at me is the left shirt collar (his right), where it meets his neck, and where the jacket meets it. But I'm guessing that what you mean when you say "I have to fix the neck". Awesome work!

Re: Dexter
Really nice work RM, are you drawing over an existing photo of someone wearing a suit?
The face is particularly special because it's 100% Inkscape, and faces are the most difficult to fake!

Re: Dexter
Right on!! This is one of the best portrait/human piece I think I have seen so far being done with an app like this. There is only one thing left. When does the tutorial come out?

Just to see how you did some of this. Even after working with Inkscape for over a year I still consider myself a novice and am just starting to learn a little bit about filters.

Re: Dexter
I'm working with inkscape from a year too, but i haven't done a lot of works. This is one of the biggest i have on my hd. This picture http://www.inkscape.org/screenshots/gallery/inkscape-0.45-gradient-mesh-experimental.png made me think that is possible to make something like a gradient mesh. It's a long work 'cause you have to do a lot of paths and play with blur-gradient-opacity until you have what you want.
Re: Dexter
Thanks for the tips and link. This will be a good start. I saw another portrait that someone did that was also exceptionally well done and now I can't remember where I found it on the web. Anyway it will be interesting to see what you do next.

I meant it will be interesting to see what new project you do next. That is if you post anything.
