can you lead me to a tutorial which will teach me how to match the websites template color?
say, i'd like to create a logo for inkscapeforum.com and its orange andso i'd also like tit to be orange just like to template, how can i get exactly to color of it?

Speaking of screenshot tools, if you're on Ubuntu, try Shutter http://shutter-project.org/ and if you're on Windows try ZScreen http://brandonz.net/projects/zscreen/index.html . You can then take the resultant image file into Inkscape and use the eyedropper tool
On either operating system if you use Firefox you can use the colorzilla extension http://www.colorzilla.com/firefox/ to take a colour value from any web page.
