With these two files, I believe it should be pretty easy to keep track of email games. To move pieces, one would just select the piece you want to move, then the number of the column you want to move to, and then use the align feature to center-vertically align the piece to the column. Then repeat for the row using the row's letter for the center-horizontal alignment. Beneath each piece visible at the moment is the promoted side of the piece, and one would repeat the above to move the promoted piece to the same place as the unpromoted one. If the piece promotes or demotes, one would use the raise/lower accordingly to show the needed status.
I also compiled the pieces into 4 easy to print files so for those who may wish to print them out and make physical pieces to play with ...

After a little break I plan on doing a westernized set of pieces for those who have problems remembering all the kanji.
Eventually, when I get this project finished I'll upload the .svgs to wikipedia and try to add them to the Ko Shogi entry page for others to be able to download and use.
