"head" replacement

Postby Chico » Wed Sep 23, 2009 12:29 am

Hi all. I'm a total noob and this is my first post, so I apologize in advance for any breach of protocol :)

Here's my thing. I have 2 photos of my family from pretty much the same angle and distance. The problem is that in one photo, everyone looks good but me (I have my eyes closed). In the other, I'm the only one that looks "normal." Is there a tutorial out there somewhere that can walk me through the basics of taking my "good head" and overlaying it on my "bad head" to come up with one good family pic?

Oh wow...never mind, I figured it out  I used Heathenx's tutorial on replacing a background texture http://screencasters.heathenx.org/wp-content/videos/ep033.ogv and made a slight modification in the process and there we go.

It sounds like a bitmap editor would be preferable in your case. Check out GIMP :)
