arrows missing from symbols

arrows missing from symbols

Hey guys!
So I am building a symbol library of electronical symbols in inkscape.
It so happens that I can make the symbols, and then paste them to the Inkscape symbols folder, but when I import them to a new file, all the arrows in the symbols are missing, i.e, the symbols are intact but the arrows just dont come in.

Can you show us examples?

How are you drawing the arrows? Are you drawing them yourself, or using markers?
