Postby cangoo » Sun Aug 07, 2016 9:06 pm

hi,

i need to prepare a 100dpi file in jpg,pdf or tiff format.

file will be used for print a 300cm x 35cm pvc board

after virtual compose of the board on inkscape, how do you reccommend to proceed to export the image?

i don't know how i can export a 100dpi image.

thanks

Hi.

I'd go with saving as pdf because that would preserve the vector content as vectors.

If you use filtering, then maybe exporting to a raster image is better.
Can only export to png format so the jpg and tiff options would need a raster editor like gimp.
That case export the drawing @100 dpi and set the resolution in the raster editor accordingly.
