Getting running an a mac

Hi All,

I've installed inkscape on my mac +upgraded the latest version of x11 (2.2.3) and I still cannot get inkscape to run. Gimp runs and works fine, no problems at all.

Is there anything that I am supposed to type into the CLI of x11?

Sorry about the rather basic question.

What version of OS X are you running?
I'm on 10.4 (Tiger). I think the default OS X download is Leopard which once caused me problems.

Try searching the forum. There's one very long thread about getting Inkscape to work on Macs.
