Google to slip SVG into Internet Explorer
Re: Google to slip SVG into Internet Explorer
Wow, this is great news. I love that SVG has Google on its side. If Google is going to the effort of getting SVG support into IE, then obviously Google has plans to make use of SVG in it's products (how great would Google Maps be as vectors). Very exciting.

There's already some vector in Google Maps. VML for IE, SVG for others.

I didn't know that--thanks for pointing that out. Doing a search it sounds like the driving directions is SVG. I look forward to when the actual maps are SVG
