I just feel to say a'm a bit confused over a little thing.

When I have a question about Inkscape, how to choose wich forum to post my question.
Personally I cannot. Both "Help with using Inkscape" and "General Discussions" seems to be the right place to put my question.

I think others have been confused as well, including me In some cases, a question doesn't clearly belong in either forum In that case, I think we do the best we can. If a moderator thinks it clearly needs to be in another forum, they'll move it.

If it's anything to do with how to accomplish something specific using Inkscape, anything about drawing in a single file, it should go in the Help forum. Sometimes I've had a question which seemed general, but after getting the answer realized it should have gone in the Help forum.

Beyond that, I'll let micro give us the official word

The help forum is where you go to get an answer to a question regarding how to use Inkscape. You would be seeking instructions if you post in this forum.

General discussions where you go to post a statement as a topic of discussion. It might not be a question, but if it was it wouldn't relate to how to use Inkscape. I.e. you might ask what the timeline is for the next version of Inkscape.

That's correct. It's the most active forum for that reason.
