Bombtastic! Logo

Postby MavisPuford » Wed Aug 20, 2008 8:25 am

This is the logo for my new game for the zune. :)

Info about it can be found here:
http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/279826-post1.html

Made with Inkscape.

On a side note, all graphics in this game have been made with Inkscape .46, including the animations.

Nice baloon effect. I remember having fun in primary school creating fonts that complimented the word. We didn't call them "fonts" in those days, though :)

It looks like he created the text and duplicated it multiple time with different outset/offset values, then stacked appropriately and gave them some gradients.

Sorry I didn't reply to your comment. I've been busy programming/creating the art/music/everything for this game. To answer your question:

I drew the letters manually, then combined them into one path (not a group..I used "Path" -> "Combine"). Then I went to "Path" -> "Linked Offset", dragged that little dot on the linked offset to make it all fluffy looking, threw it behind the letters and moved it where I wanted it (in this case down to give it a 3d-ish look) and that's it! Hope this helps! Thanks for the comments!
