Heya..
His hand holding the glass looks wrong, as if it was his other hand. And the sun looks odd... not like a bright and shining something but rather dark and gloomy. I think changing the red-ish orange in the fill to something bright yellow, near white would help with the light situation. Same goes for the surrounding halo-thingie. But then still, the direction of the guy's shadow would be totally wrong with the sun in this position (shadowing on the trees differs as well). Hope that helps...

Btw. what did you mean by "tools I develop"?

Hi Dillerkind -- jabiertxof has developed a number of excellent new LPEs. I suppose they will be coming out in the next version, but I don't really know for sure. Most if not all of them have been announced in Inkscape Resources board. I don't know if there are trials available for public, but maybe?

The hand seems fine to me. Maybe add more humor, if some wine is sloshing out of glass, and drops are landing on the hat....or maybe just flying back through the air!

Oh, I didn't know about him being involved in development. Thanks for clarifying this.

As for the hand.. well, it's his right hand but it looks like the left one. Judging from the position of the nails and the bending of the fingers I'd say we see the back of this hand. But if so, then the thumb and index finger are simply on the wrong side :D Eh never mind.

Excellent one!
Have you considered making some kind of a poster or similar? Perhaps your interpretation of some classics?

I don't see very much difference in the 2 bull dog images. Some slight difference in the black outline, but that's all. Is it my browser (Firefox) can't display the effect?

I like both dragon and bull dog :D

Is a tiny effect with very low values.

The images are PNG so not browser (or Bowser! ) dependent. I had to look hard too. Reminded me of those 'find ten differences in these picture pairs' games. The effect is especially noticeable in lines that taper to a point, and on black lines. Look at the folds in front of the collar... Always nice to see a subtle application of special effects!
