It would be nice if I can change it to a place I feel that more comfortable seeing exported to. That's really all.
I tried looking at Inkscape, but I don't think it's there.
How do you change the default Inkscape PNG Export folder?
Re: How do you change the default Inkscape PNG Export folder?
The export path is saved per document. You could create a new default document template that already contains that export path.
Open a new document.
Export to PNG into the folder you want.
Save the document to the directory 'templates' (may need to be created) in the directory displayed at Edit -> Preferences -> System -> User config.
If you name it 'default.svg' or 'default.xx.svg', where xx is the two letter code for your language, then it will be used per default when Inkscape opens a new document.
