i've got one problem


how to copy a image from one window in another window????

how to drag a image from one window to another window??

must i save and import this, or there are another funcion???

When you have 2 windows open of the same Inkscape instance, you can select the objects you want to copy, Use the copy command (Ctrl + c), go to the other window and use Paste (Ctrl + v).

I think you can only drag from an Open window dialogue or Import dialogue.

If I open two different document with double click from a file manager I can't do cut and paste.
But if I open the second document "from the first document" (File/Open....for example) I can do cut and paste, on my machine.

Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit/InkScape 0.46

Please use 0.47 prerelease, it has this problem solved

Copy from one document and paste to another will make it crash very often on Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit.
0.47 prerelease, It's also now available for 64 bit GNU/Linux.
