hiya,
i went to run inkscape 0.91 today on OSX 10.8.5 and it couldnt' find quartz,
so i foolishly pointed it at xcode.
now when i run inkscape it runs xcode and no inkscape to be seen.
any ideas on how to fix it ?
.
thinking that there might be a preferences (or similar) file taht might be responsible
i have deleted two invisible folders, but i cant remember the names :p
didnt help

Re: OSX preferences ?
I don't know anything about OS X, but I guess the 'uninstall - reinstall' method could work, and will probably be faster than searching for the preferences editing solution...
Follow the install instructions at https://inkscape.org/download/mac-os/
(and, if you have any custom settings, please keep a copy of your preferences.xml file (see Edit -> Preferences -> System), just in case)

Re: OSX preferences ?
haha i made a mistake :p
i reinstalled OSX not that long ago and forgot i hadnt reinstalled X11 yet.
so i've done that and now all is fine.
the good news is that in the process i found out why when you copy/paste in inkscape you get a rasterized paste unless you change the preference in X11.
thanks
