Hello guys
I post two picture with a very elaborate shape.



When I convert this shape to a path, It will have many nodes; but I would want that the path has only 4 nodes and only on the extreme angles, as you can see in the second picture, where I put 4 red circles.



Is it possible?

I think what you want is a pattern along path solution. Draw one section of your filmstrip then draw the shape you want it to flow along. Select the filmstrip and the path and do pattern along path (repeated, ribbon). Your path will have more than four nodes however.
