Printing

I am having trouble printing in the latest version of Inkscape. I go to the print dialog box and it shows my printers but it shows both of them as offline even though they are not and I can print from other programs. Any suggestions?

Are the problem limited to Inkscape, or do you experience similar problems in other programs?
