Fill object/path with another object/path
Fill object/path with another object/path
What I want to do is put an object within another object. Basically it would be like taking the 'container shape' and cutting it out of a sheet of paper, then laying the paper over the 'filling shape'. something like this. http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/9187 ... odijh5.jpg

Also, is there any way to have a stroke around the edge?

Re: Fill object/path with another object/path
If your wanting to stroke the clip line, then you need to create a duplicate (a clone would be best actually, as it will stay linked) of the clip path before you apply the clip, and leave it on top and use that to set it.
Other option would be to convert the objects to a pattern instead of clipping, then applying it as a fill to the object. That would allow you to still apply a stroke.
