Greetings from Italy
Hello, inkscapers! I'm an enthusiast Linux users, who's planning to use Inkscape to draw vector mathematics illustration for some LaTeX-rewritten lecture notes. I study Physics in university, and I hope to find this software meets all my needs.
Re: Greetings from Italy
Welcome aboard!
And good luck with latex.
I could not get it to work on pc right and had some bad experience. Moved to linux since, although I'm using i for months now, I'm missing the knowledge of most of it (opensuse).
With inkscape you will make such illustrations with no problem -check the "function plotter" and the "parametric curves" extension.
If you want to print from eps files, then keep in mind that inkscape yet not supports transparency with eps files, so use fills with no alpha and 100 opacity values.
