Finished this just recently, I'm not having fun with emulating skin in Inkscape but I am enjoying artificial materials.

This looks great. Excellent one.
Perhaps you`d be interested in seeing a bit different approach to shading.
You did a great job in shading parts but it could be even greater if you make parts to cast shadows on other parts. On your drawing, it`s not quite clear where from the light comes.
p.s.
...and that 2 on shoulder. Please make it curved or at least hide a part of it. No way it could look like this on a curved surface.
