polygons wont path

I'm making some designs for shirts and when I use the star polygon I can save the art as usual. When I take the art to my vinyl cutter and try to convert to vectot everything shows up except the polygon star. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to get these things to convert to vector so I can use it on the vinyl cutter. Its making me nuts

I'd try Menu: Path>Object to Path.

I un-grouped everything and it seems there is a orphan flow-text in the picture, everything else is paths.

Also, try with setting the opacity of the star at 100%. transparency can clobber vectors.
