Hi,

Is there any differences in performance of inkscape in Linux, comparing with Windows?
I really like to work with inkscape but sometimes it gets a bit slow when I have many objects.
I'm wondering if I can get a bit better performance if I use it in linux?

The next version, 0.46, will have a performance increase but as far as how much is still unknown by me. I use Inkscape on Linux as much as I use it on Windows and I cannot tell a difference in speed with the current 0.45-1 release.
