I strongly want to replace animated banner on web pages made in flash with a standard tecnology like SVG.
I see that Inkscape team have planned complex animation/interaction for 0.48 (great!)
In the meantime someone can suggest me a mode to simply animate a banner with some images, each pointing to different URL?
Hope should work natively on all browser, but iExplorer, or better also on iExplorer+AdobeSVGplugin

I think someone made a javascript that animates SVG, try searching for that.
I doubt there will be animations support in 0.48, since 0.47 dev period was so long it is aimed to release 0.48 early mostly with bug fixes.

SVG animation features should be guided/coordinated with Acid4 test requirements:
