Hi everyone,
I am new to Inkscape, and I have a question that I hope has not already been asked and answered (if it has I couldn't find it). I am trying to use the find function in order to select all of the polygons in an image that have the same fill color. Is the find function the way to do this, and if so how? I cannot figure out what to type into which field in the find box.
Thanks for any ideas
Ben

Re: "Find" function?
To find objects with the same fill color:
1) Determine the color of the fill. That is, the '#......' color. Click on an object with that fill color and then choose Objects->Fill and Stroke... The color is labeled "RGBA:" It's located on the right just above the "Blur:"
2) Choose Edit->Find... and fill in the field "Style:" with "fill:#color" Leave off the double quotes and replace color with the the letters and digits from "RGBA:" but leave off the last two characters. (Leave the '#') You can use copy & paste but delete the last two characters.
