Hello there, currently I am using Inkscape to draw the frames for a short cartoon I am making. I use Sony vegas to put the frames together. When I render the movie with Sony vegas, I can get a very nice quality when rendered. However, no matter what I try, it always looks absolutely horrible on youtube. The thing is, I've tried almost every configuration that people advise (including youtube's resolution). I'm not even sure anymore of what I can do to help my quality.
If any of you have seen anything my Mondo Media on youtube, you'd see the type of quality I am aiming for... Anyone have any clue how I can get some better quality on youtube?
Inkscape, Sony vegas and youtube
Re: Inkscape, Sony vegas and youtube
I would check out the Mondo forums here > http://happytreefriends.atomfilms.com/index.html ask them what recording and encoding methods thery are using.
Incidentally. Yesterday I came across a pretty cool looking animation suite called Creatoon here > http://www.creatoon.com/index.php It was a commercial app, but now the author is giving it away FREE!
I'm looking forward to spending some time with it. Could be a perfect match for Inkscape.
Cheers

I am running into the exact same problem when uploading videos to youtube, and I am wondering if you figured out how to make these rendered videos look better on youtube. Any insight or advice would be great. Thanks!

Welcome to InkscapeForum!
Have you followed the advice given to the op, and visited Mondo forum? If you learned anything there, did it work, not work, why?
