Define own shapes for pen tool? - 0.47

Postby microUgly » Sat Jul 26, 2008 3:32 pm

I just seen the new feature for the pen tool that applies a shape to the path (obviously using LPE), in the development builds of 0.47. Does anyone know if you can define your own shapes for the path other than using 'from clipboard'? I checked the Share directory but didn't see anything that suggested shapes.

If you can then it's not obviously present. Those dev builds are moving quickly though. Who knows what they add from day to day.

I did notice though that they have included brushes in the calligraphy tool :tool_calligraphic: . It seems pretty basic at this point. Did you check that out? Perhaps that's what you are interested in for the Pen tool :tool_pen: .

It's in the plans, just not done yet.

Sorry, I said pen :tool_pen: but I meant pencil :tool_pencil:. I could use :tool_calligraphic: for the effect I'm after but it won't be as quick and easy as using shapes with the pencil tool.

Thanks for the clarification Simarilius.
