How to change font of multiple text boxes while preserving their size

Postby diyoyo » Sat Jun 10, 2017 1:07 am

Hi,
I have noticed that selecting multiple text boxes and changing their font actually also change all other parameters at once.
However, I would like to keep all properties as they are on different boxes (eg different sizez) while homogenizing the font for all of them.
Is that possible?
Thanks.

What version and system are you using?

When I use the controls in the toolbar, only the font changes.
Have a nice day.

I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1

The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

I see the text keeps its same size, while changing the font on more than 1 flowed text box all at the same time. Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit, Inkscape 0.92.1, 64-bit, exe installer.

If you're not using the current stable version (0.92.1) we'll probably ask if you can upgrade. So if you don't have any reason not to, you could try that first?

If that doesn't seem to help, would you also provide a file which shows this behavior? I'm not sure if there is some option or preference which might be the reason for this. But if so, a file showing it would help us find it.
