after playing with an install of Ubuntu i was totally jealous of the fact that it had thumbnail previews of SVG files in the file browser.
so i decided to search for something that allows this to happen under windows:
this is what i found -
X*
among other things it intalls a shell extention that displays svg's as thumbnails - i tried it under Vista and it worked pretty well...
is there any other ways of doing this that people have found?

SVG thumbnails for windows
Re: SVG thumbnails for windows
Kinda weird, I installed it on my XP system, and the only thing I get is a thumbnail with a white background and "Renesis v 0.6" written in... The program seems to have installed without problems, so I wonder what's the problem...
I'll post a bug report to tghe developers...

Yeah, i'm not having much luck with on XP also. I also get the same thumb you described and if I attempt to open an SVG file in IE or the Standalone Player it crashes.
Re: SVG thumbnails for windows
Well, it seems that the software is behaving normally under vista, and is buggy under XP... I sent a bugreport to the devels.
