Hey everyone! So the thing is, I was just drawing the other night, when my laptop froze. I restarted it and wanted to continue the drawing like nothing happened, however when I opened the work in progress an error message popped up. It said The C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\inkscape\preferences.xml settingfile is not a valid XML-document. The Inkscape will use the default settings. The new settings will not be saved. So I clicked on Okay, being the only option. The program runs, but as it said the settings I make, such as width and color of my lines. I know it's not a huge problem, but I would like to solve it and this is what I need some help with. Please let me know if you can help me!

Just delete the file C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\inkscape\preferences.xml , then Inkscape will create a new one.
