Text Tracking

Postby thiagoscp » Sat Jan 31, 2009 3:35 am

Hi,
I have to edit a large text on Inkscape.
But I want to increase the space between the letters of all the text.

I know already the manual kerning function ("alt + arrows"), but this is not what I need. If I would do this in all of my text I would be in a real big trouble.
What I need is some function like there is in Illustrator the "tracking". Please, I really need to know the "tracking text" or "tracking letters" function in Inkscape.
Can you help me?
Thank you very much.
Sorry for my english.

Thiago

While in Text tool select all of the text (Ctrl + a) and then Alt + >.

If for the ">" sign doesn't have it's own key on your keyboard layout don't forget to include the modifier key you usually use to get that character.
just hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt
