Text Problems. Please Help.

Hi All, I'm in the process of creating a logo With the letters TBS I have a simple design i made up Here

I would like to create a S in a linear form Kinda like a 3 with the top half fliped and put it on the end Although im not sure how to create this accurately. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks, SmashMangoes.

there are many ways to do what i think you're asking about. But I would set up a good grid, and in outline mode use arcs (the circle tool and setting the start and finish angles) and the pen tool for straight lines.

Do this with grid snapping on so that you can make sure that end points are aligned easily and mostly avoid any direct editing of points.

When you have your lines in place, use the open selection tool [F2] and area select the endpoints that overlap and join them one-by-one\ where you can.

Then with the entire thing selected (with the regular [F1] selection) choose Path > Stroke to Path to create solid objects. then if you want the whole thing combined, use Path > Union.
