I can't use Inkscape! couse when i try too save it just freezes the screen and i can't save my arts. why does it just freeze?

I do not know! But maybe if we had more info we would have a place to start sorting out the problem. Would you please tell us your version of Inkscape and your os? What are you trying to save, I assume SVG (if it's huge, that could be the problem)? How are you trying to save it (exactly)?

Windows 2000 xp
inkscape saving freezes screen and i need too restart my computer.
i can make it any size, nothing works, and i when i press "save" it freezes...


Another thing.
when i make a blur picture and try too save it, it just get's color. no blur as png (which format else?)

I have the same problem. No matter how much I have drawn or if i try "Save" or "Save As" it just freezes. I don't even get a dialog.
I use XP SP3 and Inkscape 0.47 r22583

this could be bug #285267 “[Win32] Save As/Save a Copy not shown”

Note: the application doesn't freeze but the save dialog is not visible. Try to use 'escape' to return focus to the main application window.

Same here can't save.

If you've already investigated and you're sure this is attributable to the bug posted by ~suv, then you might want to follow the link to Launchpad, and add your experience to the bug tracker. It will help developers fix it sooner.
