Is there going to be an item "2." or "3." or more?

Is the imported file PLT or CDR? If both, how large is the 2nd file? Otherwise why are both formats mentioned? What is your operating system and Inkscape version? How much RAM on your system? Was there an error message? If so, what? Was a backup saved? What do you want from us - How can we help?

Is the imported file PLT or CDR?
-->same file with two extension.
how large is the 2nd file?
--> it's 13 mb files.
What is your operating system??and Inkscape version?
--> Ubuntu 10.04 & inskscape 0.48.4
How much RAM on your system?
--> 2 GB RAM
Was there an error message?
-->No any error message show in ubuntu

by the way i analysis that if i import any 9 mb or more files import that time inkscape crash without any message.(Extension any Inkscape supported)
Filling (Eggbot extension and import files ) memory problem in inkscape (my cpu and memory process 100% when i am use this 2 function)
brynn please do need full this is very urgent for me.

Please post links to the problem files.
Have a nice day.

I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1

The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

Likely the problem is not having enough RAM on the computer. (imo) 2 gb is really the lower end of what I would consider Inkscape needs, these days. (Although any minumum system requirements are not to be found publicly, I often wonder why.)

I don't clearly understand these comments, partly I think related to translation:

"by the way i analysis that if i import any 9 mb or more files import that time inkscape crash without any message.(Extension any Inkscape supported)

tylerdurden may be able to find something in the file, that could be fixed, that could help it work better with the low RAM. But in the end, you are limited by the RAM. (I know that on desktop computers, it's sometimes possible to buy and add more RAM. But not with laptops, notebooks, etc.)

Actually I'm not sure if I've ever heard of a file with 2 extensions! I know I've accidentally created them, but I didn't think they would work. However, if having the 2 extensions somehow makes the file larger, maybe it would make sense to make a single extension?

PLT and CDR are two different filetypes, but the image might be the same, like exporting a pdf from Inkscape... The same "picture" is svg and pdf, if all goes well.

Divide and conquer, so they say.
Try splitting the original file to two half if possible.

Without a look there is not much more we can suggest to simplify your file into a lower size.
(Though even then there wouldn't be any guarantee. If all the data is necessary, there can't be any to get rid of. But, for instance, if you have a hatched fill made out of small line segments, by deleting those your file could be shrunken dramatically.)
