[solved] Position of nodes in circular path

Postby SCLu » Sat May 28, 2016 3:47 am

Hi all,
I want to find the exact positions (XY coordinates) of the start and end points (circled in brown) of an arc. I think Inkscape treats line drawings differently from circles and arcs, resulting in the position indicator (underlined in red) being greyed out. But I want the arc to line up with another line I have (as shown), and the lack of positions make the exact alignment a rather cumbersome process.

Is there any method (either via settings or via an extension) to display the positions?

Converting the arc to path is probably not desired, right? Does it work when you use snapping (didn't test)?
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!

Sorry, didn't realise I could convert an arc to a path...
It's okay, since I'm working with fixed angles.
Thanks!
