Looking for a good gradient tutorial

Postby tigerbike » Mon Mar 29, 2010 11:33 pm

Hello again, I'm looking for a good gradient tutorial. I am using the Chrome tutorial as the basis for a logo I am working on, but I have very little experience with Inkscape gradients. Is there a tut out there that will walk me through the process step by step (setting stops, applying, saving, etc)? I need to create the basic chrome gradient for the tutorial, and I want to understand the basic principles of setting up stops so I can do more complex work in the future.

Thanks!

In the Help menu > Inkscape Manual, you can look up the instructions for using gradients in Inkscape. Also in that same manual, go to the Quick Start chapter. It offers several tutorials for understanding Inkscape basics, and I'm sure there's one for gradients (but can't remember its name at the moment).
