Hello,

I try to crate extensions in Inkscape 0.47 for myself in a first time.
All the extensions are written in english but I work in frnch and all the extensions have texts in french.
Ther is a file where Inkscape can find the translation of all the elements used in the extensions (.inx file). I would find that file and add in it my new elements and their french translations.

Where can I find that file on my computer ? (Ubuntu 9.10 - Inkscape 0.47).
Is it possible to modify the contenst of that file ?

All translations in Inkscape are handled by a centralised system. http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php ... nformation . The complied translations are stored in share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES, however the plain text .po files are in the Inkscape source code. see http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~inkscape.d ... ead%3A/po/ or http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~inkscape.d ...
