Do you have the ‘Mac Ports-Guide’ Docs ?

Since you’ve used Macports to install Inkscape you are familiar with the Terminal command line and how to get there. Im not a Macports guru, but there is one thing you could try to gain some success.
From the Mac Ports Guide in “Common Tasks” area, it says, to uninstall a port; do the following; (use at your own risk)
$ sudo port uninstall Inkscape
Just enter the exact Inkscape name you used at the end.
There’s probably a lot of files to uninstall (delete) so it make take a while to get it done, so be very patient.
If it goes beyond 2 hours+ you can always use a Control-C to stop the process.
