Hello all! In my version 0.92 in "create tiled clones" I encounter two problems:
1) only rows will work, columns don't do anything.
2) the tiles remain invisible under one another, they stack.
However, when doing a circle rotation (with the rows) , everything comes out fine.
Where do I go to correct?

tiling
Re: tiling
Please try to:
1. reset all settings in the dialog
2. if that doesn't help, then upload
a) a test file that shows the problem
b) a screenshot that shows the settings in the dialog

Re: tiling
After a reset I was able to use rows and columns and the tiles no longer stack but, if I do the columns around a center point, the tiles ignore the crosshairs and do their own thing, i.e. the cercle is incomplete, or misshapen, or lacking tiles, or fails to go around the plus sign. I wonder if the shift thing has something to do with it, but how to set the shift eludes me in that I have no idea whether to use a minus or a plus, have no idea about picking the right shift numbers; I haven''t found anywhere an explanation of the use of this shift feature.

Have you looked into the tutorial that comes with Inkscape already?
Some info about this is in the Tips and Tricks tutorial (Help > Tutorials > Tips and Tricks)
and there's also a whole page about it in the user manual at http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL ... Shift.html
