strange iconset

Postby otx » Thu Sep 24, 2015 12:37 am

Hi,

Does anyone know what is this iconset and how can I get rid of this? In my home folder I have my own iconset, but suddenly Inkscape doesn't take this in consideration, instead starts with this. I have no idea where does it come from as there is no such icon file in the /usr/share/inkscape/icons folder. Any idea?

Thanks,
Dezso

Any chance we could know the Inkscape version and operating system?

"suddenly" is a bit vague for us, who have no idea what's happening on your computer. You are in a much better position to be able to sort out what else might have happened between the last time you used Inkscape, and now.

I think the icons are managed by GTK, although I'm not entirely sure what that is. But I mention it in case you might know something about it. Other programs might use GTK, so maybe it was changed by another program you installed. (sorry ~suv, that's the best I understand it -- please correct my poor explanation)

I believe you can also save icons in a user's local folder on a Linux system. Take a look in $YourHomeDirectory/.config/inkscape/icons/ (You need to show hidden files). Is there anything saved there?
