Hi everyone =)

Firstly, I must say how great I think Inkscape is. From the high quality of work that I have seen in this forum so far, it seem to be a very capable program.

Anyway, here's my first thing I ever made in Inkscape, yesterday. It was a pretty steep learning curve for me, before I started it I didn't even know how to add nodes, but I am pretty impressed with what I have managed to make so far.



In case you can't see what it is meant to be, it is supposed to be a person reaching through some prison bars.

Please be truthful in replying, and tell me how you think I could improve this piece, like, shapes, colours, etc.

I think it's a great design--I know representing something so simply isn't as easy as it may seem. And a good start for a beginner (vector is not an obvious concept to grasp). Good work. I look forward to seeing more work from you.

I like it. It kind of reminds me of the Keep Britain Tidy logo
My only suggestion would be maybe adjusting the colours a bit so there's more contrast. It might help define the person more.
