Closing a File Under Windows

Postby Alan P in DC » Wed Sep 17, 2008 3:17 am

Hi - I've located the Linux answer for this, but I need some Windows XP help here.

When I click CTRL-W for "close" (to close a file after saving), the program executes a CTRL-Q for "quit" and shuts down the entire program. Is there a way to change this so Close means Close and Quit means Quit?

Thx.

Inkscape always closes the application if only one file is open.

A request has been reported to change that https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/216919
