Object with different strokes

How I can create an object, for example a circle, with different strokes?. For example half circle with a different stroke style to the other half?.

Could you define "different strokes"?

Regarding the given example - create two circles, use the rounded node to turn them into half and apply desired stroke style.

If it's just a different color, then you could also use a linear gradient, and put the two handles very close to each other to get the desired effect.
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
