I try to learn to create gears with insckape, after I want to print flat pattern using pepakura soft.
Are they compatible?

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish: pepakura works on 3D files, calculating 2D patterns that can be folded to look like the 3D object. Inkscape can only do 2D representations of 3D, therefore it does not work as input for pepakura. Or do you want to do something to the 2D files from pepakura? pekura saves bmp or emf, so you will be able to import pics from there.

Thank you loonquawl, now I understand.

If it can work with povray files then you could use the exporter to output to a pov file, then import that.
