Hello everyone! I'm new to this community and an amateur at using the Inkscape program but have been tinkering around with for about a year.
You see, I use Inkscape solely for hobby purposes and am looking to upgrade to a new laptop since my current one is faulty and cluttered with old files. Nothing fancy, just looking into an Asus Vivobook X202e running Windows 8, which is apparently touch screen compatible. I'm not a tech junkie or anything but I really like this model since it is compact and the software is seemingly up to date. I'm just wondering if this laptop is good for someone simply looking to work on a few projects on the go, and if the touch screen technology works with Inkscape (in essence, to more accurately manipulate nodes, paths, etc.)
I've heard of Wacom tablets and the like but am only interested in a decent enough ultrabook that will perform at a satisfactory level.
Any info regarding my concerns would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
