Filter effects both duped objects?

Postby WolverinesLPs » Sat Jan 17, 2015 9:43 am

I am following a inkscape tutorial on drawing sunglasses, I duplicated an object and tried applying a filter to the duplicated one, but it apply's the filter to both the duped and original object. I have the original deselected but it keeps happening. How do I fix this?! :?:

Hi.

Any chances you made a clone instead of a duplicant?

If so, either release the clone link, or put the clone inside a group and apply filter on the group and not on the parent.
